Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki: Pride Celebration 2020 – join us over the afternoon of Saturday 15 February to celebrate 2020 Auckland Pride Festival with two exciting free events in our Gallery spaces:

Saturday, 1.30PM | GALS Choir – Enjoy the stunning voices of The Gay and Lesbian Singers (GALS) when they return to perform in our Lower Grey Gallery.  

Saturday 15 February 3pm | LGBTTQI-insight: Rainbow meets Art – Look at art from diverse perspectives on a tour presented by an artist, gallerist, an art collector and curator. LGBTTQI (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Takatāpui, Transgender, Queer or Questioning and Intersex) signals the many different perspectives we bring to our encounters with art. This free tour in the Mackelvie Gallery space introduces the past from contemporary perspectives of gender, sexuality and representation, celebrating diversity.
