Tāmaki Pātaka Kōrero’s Playdate for Queer Families is an event especially for the rainbow families of Tāmaki Mākaurau, in celebration of the Auckland Pride Festival 2020.

We welcome LGBTQIA+ parents and children of all ages to connect and kōrero through a special Pride-themed Storytime, followed by an open discussion of queer parenting topics led by friendly and knowledgeable community representatives.

We will be providing light refreshments and a curation of LGBTQIA+ resources (for adults, kids, teens and parents) for you to browse, borrow and discuss with each other.
